These Terms govern your use of the Pharma Connect mobile app and website. By creating an account or using Pharma Connect, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. About the service
Pharma Connect is a professional networking service for pharmacists, pharmacy students and pharmaceutical professionals, including those working in marketing, production, R&D, quality and regulatory affairs, primarily in Bangladesh. It lets members build a professional profile, connect and message, share posts, join groups and events, ask and answer questions, find mentors and apply for jobs.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information about yourself.
- One person may hold one personal account. Use your real name and accurate credentials.
- Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Professional content
Content shared on Pharma Connect is for professional discussion and education only.
4. Groups, events, Q&A and mentorship
- Groups: group creators and admins may approve or remove members and are responsible for keeping their group within these Terms.
- Events: hosts are responsible for the accuracy of event details, venues and meeting links. Pharma Connect does not organise member events.
- Ask a Pharmacist: answers are peer opinions, not professional advice. Votes and “best answer” marks reflect members’ views only.
- Mentorship: mentors volunteer their time. Pharma Connect does not guarantee any mentorship or outcome; meet and share information with care.
5. Verification
Verification badges confirm that our reviewers examined the documents you submitted and that they appeared genuine at the time of review. A badge is not an endorsement of your competence or advice, and it can be revoked if information proves false.
6. Jobs
Employers are responsible for the accuracy of their job listings. We review listings to reduce fraud but cannot guarantee any employer or hiring outcome. Legitimate employers will never ask you to pay to apply, interview or join; please report any that do. Salary insights are estimates based on published listings and are provided for guidance only.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- post unlawful, misleading, harassing, hateful or fraudulent content;
- advertise or promote prescription medicines to the public, or offer medicines for sale;
- share patient-identifiable information, confidential company documents or other people’s personal data;
- impersonate others or create fake profiles, job posts or events;
- send spam, scrape the service, or attempt to bypass security controls.
8. Your content and our rights
You keep ownership of the content you post. You give Pharma Connect permission to store, display and distribute that content within the service so it can work as intended, for example showing your posts to other members. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has already been shared by others or must be kept by law.
9. Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Moderation decisions are logged and may be appealed by contacting us.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account. Some records may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes. See the Privacy Policy for details.
11. Disclaimers
Pharma Connect is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and secure but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for content posted by members, the conduct of employers or event hosts, or decisions you make based on information found on the service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Pharma Connect after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
